ELIvation Schools

Our mission is to create an exceptional learning environment where students are known deeply, challenged meaningfully, and supported individually.

We believe education should not be one-size-fits-all. Instead of forcing students to fit into a traditional model, we design learning experiences that honor their unique talents, learning styles, and developmental needs. Through hands-on instruction, project-based learning, and intentional movement integration, students engage with academics in ways that are active, creative, and relevant.

Small class sizes allow us to truly understand each learner. We prioritize individualized support, creative problem-solving, and flexible instructional strategies that minimize frustration and maximize growth. Rather than focusing solely on standardized benchmarks, we focus on building confident thinkers, capable problem-solvers, and curious learners who understand how they learn best.

From early elementary through high school, students are guided through an educational journey that blends academic rigor with real-world application. Foundational skills are built through interactive, meaningful learning experiences. As students grow, they take on deeper projects, increased independence, and collaborative opportunities that strengthen both competence and character.

ELIvation Schools creates an environment where learning is dynamic. Classrooms are active. Instruction is purposeful. Relationships are central.

We are not trying to replicate every other private school, we are intentionally different. We exist for families seeking an education that values individuality, encourages movement and creativity, and develops each child’s strengths while thoughtfully supporting their challenges.

Our graduates leave not just prepared for what comes next, but confident in who they are and how they learn.

2e Program

ELIvation Schools’ 2e (Twice-Exceptional) Program is designed for students who demonstrate advanced intellectual ability while also navigating learning differences that require intentional support.

The result is an environment where twice-exceptional learners feel understood, supported, and empowered to reach their full academic and personal potential.

Jennifer recognized early on that many students and families in the Seattle/Tacoma area needed more individualized, flexible educational options than traditional systems could offer, and she has dedicated her career to helping bridge that gap. Jennifer’s journey into education and special needs advocacy began 29 years ago with her first son, who was diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, high anxiety, and a high IQ. As a mother to several children with a wide range of learning differences and support needs—including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, processing disorders, cognitive and communication disabilities, neurological disorders, ASD, and emotional regulation challenges—Jennifer experienced firsthand the limitations of one-size-fits-all education. In 2014, Jennifer began working within the public special education system, gaining critical insight into its structural challenges. By 2019, she transitioned into the private specialty school setting, where she was able to more effectively connect district resources with family-centered solutions. With more than 25 years of professional experience, Jennifer has worked with schools and districts across Washington to provide Nonpublic Agency (NPA) services. She holds degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice and has extensive experience advocating for students with special needs. Originally from the California Bay Area and the Hawaiian Islands, Jennifer now splits her time between homes in the Seattle/Tacoma area and Hawaii.

Why Choose ELIvation Schools?

Choosing the right school is about more than grades or test scores. It’s about finding an environment where your child is understood, challenged in meaningful ways, and supported with creativity and intention.

At ELIvation Schools, education is designed to unlock each student’s fullest potential by honoring how they learn best. We move beyond traditional models and create classrooms that are active, project-based, hands-on, and deeply personalized.

Personalized Learning That Meets Students Where They Are

No two students learn the same way and we don’t expect them to.

With small class sizes and individualized instruction, our teachers take the time to truly know each student’s strengths, interests, and learning profile. Lessons are adapted to build confidence, reduce unnecessary struggle, and deepen understanding through real engagement.

We prioritize movement, collaboration, discussion, and experiential learning so students aren’t just sitting through school, they’re participating in it.

Academic Challenge That Feels Purposeful

Rigor doesn’t have to mean rigid.

At ELIvation Schools, students are challenged through meaningful work: projects, inquiry-based learning, critical thinking tasks, and real-world application. Academic growth happens alongside creativity and exploration.

We focus on helping students:

  • Think independently

  • Solve problems creatively

  • Take ownership of their learning

  • Develop confidence in their abilities

A Developmental Path That Grows With Students

Our progression model- Basecamp (K–2), Saddle (3–5), Crest (6–8), and Summit (9–12)- reflects intentional growth at every stage.

In the early years, students build foundational literacy and numeracy through interactive, hands-on experiences. As they grow, they take on increasingly complex projects, greater independence, and deeper responsibility for their learning.

Each phase builds not just knowledge, but capability.

Supporting Advanced and Twice-Exceptional Learners

ELIvation Schools is designed for students who are advanced, motivated, or twice-exceptional (2e), learners who need both meaningful challenge and intentional support.

We offer enriched learning opportunities, flexible problem-solving pathways, and guidance in building organization and self-advocacy skills. Students are encouraged to develop their strengths while receiving support where it matters most.

Partnership With Families

Education works best when it’s collaborative.

We maintain strong, transparent communication with families and value parents as active partners in their child’s growth. Together, we create an educational experience that supports students academically, socially, and personally.

Flexible Learning for Modern Families

ELIvation Schools offers both on-campus and remote options, maintaining the same interactive, live, and structured approach in both settings. Families can choose the format that aligns best with their needs without sacrificing quality or connection.

Preparing Students for What Comes Next

At its core, ELIvation Schools is about preparing students for real life, not just the next test or milestone.

Our students leave with strong academic foundations, confidence in how they learn, and the ability to think critically, adapt, and problem-solve. They understand their strengths, know how to advocate for themselves, and feel capable navigating new challenges.

Choosing ELIvation Schools means choosing an education that sees your child as an individual and is committed to helping them grow into who they are meant to become.
